Rosie - Grade Welsh Pony Mare
DOB: 3/1995
HEIGHT: 11.2 1/4"
Rider/Handler: Beginner
Rosie is a grade Welsh pony mare that is flashy in color and is not marish at all. She was used in the past in my lesson program but I am not currently providing riding lesson so that is why she is for sale. She w/t/c both directions was jumped lightly before I got her. Rosie would rather walk but will trot and really has to be encouraged to lope but a child with experience could get her to lope.
She is a very well behaved pony that has been ridden both Western and English and does well in both areas. During lessons she was only ridden in a snaffle bit. We have never taken her out for trail riding but I feel she would be ok with doing that. Rosie is as safe in the saddle as she is on the ground. This mare enjoys being with children or adults. She has an honest personality and will do her best to please her rider/handler. This is one of those kind of ponies everyone is hoping to find and if I had grand kids she would not be leaving my place! You can leave her in the pasture for a year get her up ride her and she is the same as the day you left her.
She will only be sold to an APPROVED home and will not be going to anyone who is going to use rough techniques or jerk her around. References may be required. $1,000.00
